Re-opening of all Revital health clinics for In-person physiotherapy as of May 4, 2020.

To all Revital Health customers,

Your wait to get your pain treated is over! The Alberta Government has started lifting its restriction off from different service providers in different stages. The Government has lifted restrictions for physiotherapy services in stage 1 for all clinics in Alberta. Clinics must follow Alberta Physiotherapy College PPE, sterilization, and physical distancing requirements. Revital Health still will be providing Virtual (Telerehab) appointments for patients who would like to continue with this service, are high-risk, or exhibiting COVID symptoms. Massage Therapy is part of Stage 2 re-opening and is not yet available. Safety of our client sand staff is our number one priority. Call one of our locations to book your appointment. Physiotherapists are “Movement Specialist”. They are specialized in how the body moves and what can affect the movement.
They thoroughly assess, identify the route cause of the injury which can affect motion and help you through different hand on techniques and exercises to get back to your routine.
They help you understand what are the risk factors and causes for your condition and how to take preventive measure.
Each human body is different, and physiotherapist keeps that in mind while designing treatment regime for the patient and so each treatment is customized based on the need of that patient. Physiotherapist may use electrical modalities, mobilization and manipulation of tissues and joints. They have expert skills to improve your movements.

Therapeutic massage therapists are the professionals who offer massage for the variety of causes like relaxation, recovery from an injury, chronic pain, stiffness etc.. There are different kinds of specialized therapeutic massages the therapist uses depending upon the goal of the patient. Registered massage therapists perform mobilization/manipulation of soft tissues like fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments etc. to enhance the recovery of damage and stiff soft tissue structures.
Therapeutic massage not only relieves the pain but also focuses on other stressors on the soft tissues which can be due to overuse, poor ergonomics, related to injury or specific MSK conditions, it can also be due to faulty postures assumed at work or sports related. It helps to improve circulation and promotes relaxation and healing process of the soft tissue. It reduces the day to day stress and tension within the muscle.

Kinjal graduated from the Rajiv Gandhi University in 2011 with Bachelor in Physiotherapy. After completing her studies she moved to Canada, using her skills to help people improve their well-being. Since graduating, she has gained a wealth of knowledge that has sharpened her key skills, allowing her to become more efficient as a therapist.

Kinjal continues to pursue her love for knowledge by taking many postgraduate courses that help him to assist people to achieve better health. Kinjal continues to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle and believes that this is the single most important thing anyone can do to live a more vibrant and adventurous life.

She is passionate about getting her patients back to doing what they love! Along with her effective orthopaedic skills and encouraging hands-on approach, her patients feel empowered to be active participants in their rehabilitation, and thoroughly enjoy working toward their goals with Kinjal.

Viral graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Sardar Patel University, India in 2013. Following her study, she came to Canada as a student and graduated from Medicine Hat college in an Occupational therapy assistant and Physical therapy assistant diploma program in 2016.

Viral believes that service to man is service to god. She is very passionate about treating patients with manual therapy and use her hands on skills as a Physiotherapy treatment. Her approach to treatment includes assessing the patient, education, provide home exercise program and come up with the best treatment protocol which helps the patient to become functionally independent and pain free.

In her free time she likes to do swimming and baking.

Shuchi obtained her Bachelors in Physiotherapy and Masters degree in Neurological and Psychosomatic rehabilitation in 2015. She has been an avid clinician and academician for the past 4 years, accumulating experience in Orthopedic physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, antenatal and postnatal physiotherapy and inpatient rehabilitation. Prakash holds bachelor degree in physiotherapy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, India. He came to Canada in 2011 to complete an advance diploma in Fitness and Health promotion from Humber College, Toronto. He has concentrated on orthopedic and sport injuries to treat the root-cause of a patient’s problem by utilizing biomechanical assessments and helping people move better since 2015. Prakash is certified in Gunn intramuscular stimulation (IMS) trigger-point dry needling. He is working to get certification in spinal manipulation and Acupuncture.

Prakash believes that patient education regarding precursor for injuries, work ergonomics and posture plays a key role in treatment and better outcomes.

His clinical interests include neck pain, back pain, SI joint pain, knee pain, ankle pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain, post-surgical pain, chronic pain, work related injuries, Injuries due to motor vehicle accident, tendon enthesopathy and tendonitis.
